TONIGHT - October 9 - Dr. Eduard Fuehr Lecture
AIA New Orleans is proud to partner with the Tulane School of Architecture to present this lecture given by Dr. Eduard Fuehr, titled, "New Inner-Urban Housing /Neighborhood Concepts in Germany."

This lecture will provide a pictoral and analytical overview of the most important inner-urban and neighborhood housing projects in Germany of the last fifteen years. Groundbreaking works of the 1990's (in Tuebingen, Potsdam, Freiburg, Hannover and Leipzig) as well as the most important recent federal housing programs, the so- called 'Experimental Housing and Urbanism' in Munich

Sunday, October 12 - Pieux Redux
AIA New Orleans is proud to partner with the Louisiana Landmarks Society's new session on Historic Fences that take place at the Pitot House Museum, a 1799 Creole country residence. This series is a celebration of traditional folk crafts, supported by a grant from the Office of the Lt. Governor, the Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, and the World Cultural Economic Forum (WCEF).
