CITY OF NEW ORLEANS CONTINUES TO UPDATE PUBLIC ON THE STATUS OF RECOVERY
PROJECTS

MAYOR TO SIGN COOPERATIVE ENDEAVOR AGREEMENT WITH THE NEW ORLEANS
REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

WHAT: Today, The City of New Orleans will provide updates on the
progress and status of several recovery projects. During the briefing,
Mayor C. Ray Nagin and Executive Director of the New Orleans
Redevelopment Authority (NORA) Joseph E. Williams will sign a
Cooperative Endeavor Agreement (CEA) intended to help further reduce the
number of blighted properties that exist in New Orleans as a result of
the devastation from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

The briefing will be held at 2:30 p.m. in the Mayor's Press Room located
on the 2nd floor in City Hall.

Administrator, Robert Mendoza, Director of Public Works, Marcia St.
Martin, Executive Director of the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board
and Joseph E. Williams, Executive Director of NORA
