NEW ORLEANS -- Friday classes were canceled at East St. John High School after anonymous threats were made to the school.

Two bomb threats were phoned in Monday and Tuesday, and an Internet posting Wednesday on MySpace warned that the school would be set on fire.

Administrators hope the culprit is caught soon.

"It disrupts the entire community," school board member Gerald Keller said. "We can't allow this happen."
The sheriff's department contacted the FBI, and the culprit could face local and federal charges.

Students will have to make up the missed day, meaning their Christmas break will likely be one day shorter.
