WHY: To include the community in meeting the local candidates running for office in the upcoming elections.

New Orleans, LA – On Friday, August 1st, starting at 8 pm at NV Lounge located at 1901 Poydras Street (Across the street from the LA. Superdome) the W. Anthony Patton AGENCY proudly invites the community to join the candidates of the 2008 multi-parish/Orleans parish elections for this lively and informative event.

W. Anthony Patton AGENCY would like to inform and include the community in this event by introducing the candidates running for office in the upcoming elections. Invited guests include local candidates running for office in the following races: U.S. Senate, U.S. Rep., 2nd Congressional District, Orleans D.A., Judgeship, Magistrates, and the Orleans Parish School Board. With the help of these individuals, W. Anthony Patton AGENCY invites the community to come support this group of candidates in their pursuit of informing the community about themselves and what they can offer if they are elected for office. This will be a chance for members of the community to get to know the people they are considering voting for and have their voice heard.

The Happy-Hour networking portion of this event will take place from 8 -10 p.m. The candidates will be able to meet and greet with the audience and pass out candidacy literature on their campaign. Each candidate will have the opportunity the address the audience at the end of the Happy Hour. There will be an after-party with New Orleans’ Own legendary D.J., Charles “Bam-Bam” Belonge’. Guests must be at least 21 to enter and the dress code is strictly enforced: No sneakers, white tees, ball caps, no exceptions.
