"Music 4 Recovery®" is a concert series designed to support the collaborative efforts of students and corporate partners in New Orleans recovery projects. In 2007, it was successfully started at Loyola University on October 25th, promoted at the Voodoo Music Festival October 26-28th, joined the Sheriff's 33rd annual Thanksgiving Day Feast on November 22nd, and in 2008, supported the 1st Annual Gentilly Festival on October 11th and Dillard University's "Get Out The Vote" Halloween concert on October 31st. The series helps generate proceeds for the Stars 4 Students® Foundation, which funds student organizations and programs in community outreach projects, and provides funded internship opportunities for students with selected partners.

The Stars 4 Students® Foundation, a 501©(3) entity, is the non-profit arm of Stars 4 Students, Inc. ("S4S®"), an online community that will foster widespread support for multiple efforts/causes, encourage participation in planned events, and ultimately make a united difference. S4S® was established to create, develop, and enhance strategic partnerships among the public and private sectors and the nation's 3,600 colleges and universities and empower students to act. By providing an innovative platform, S4S® functions as the vehicle through which the student, entertainment, and business communities could combine resources to champion meaningful causes on a global scale, creating an environment based on the S4S® belief that we can create a better world by creating better people through service initiatives.
