Description: High school graduate with one-year institutional pharmacy experience is preferred. Registered in a College of Pharmacy at an approve ACPE accredited school. Registration and in good standing with the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy. Must have knowledge of the operation of equipment utilized in a hospital pharmacy. Will assist in preparing and dispensing medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving prescriptions from physicians, type labels, enter prescriptions in the outpatient computer, manually chare type-in medications, prepare and transmit orders to vendors, maintain inventory and predetermined levels of stock.
