Baton Rouge Wants To Give Taxpayers Money Back

According to report on Channel 8 news, lawmakers have filed close to 2,000 bills for the upcoming legislative session, which includes 48 bills requiring constitutional ammendments. One of the bills would allow legislators to give money back to taxpayers if the state has a surplus. Unfortunately, the current state constitution list 5 ways a surplus can be used and a rebate is not one of them .
