Another local reminder of the blatant disregard and disrespectful position that business owners have been empowered to take due to our not standing up and demanding to be 'visible.

I can think of no other race or religious group of people who continuously would allow this type or blatant discrimination to go unchecked, until someone is physically injured or arrested when we do the march/protest but develop "amnesia" shortly thereafter. We have historically been on the front lines of civil rights, but in today's world we do nothing until it hit's home with someone we have a personal relationship of connection with.

Do we wait for a "physical incident" to erupt from the fallout of this racial based allegation slight? or do we take a proactive stance, not with marching and protesting but hitting them in the wallet by demanding that those who do business with this park cease to do so until the individual(s) who made this racist policy and those who condoned it are reprimanded and/or summarily terminated....without question, our children should not consider this park as a venue for entertainment as we have been placed on notice that we are not welcome.

"....injustice anywhere..."
